The Advice Process
The initial meeting is the beginning of our partnership. Like any good relationship both sides need to understand what is expected. Open communication is essential. We actively encourage our clients to raise any questions that they may have, as this is one of the most important decisions they will ever make.
We spend time with each client in order to define their financial goals and objectives, understand their timescales and discuss attitude to risk, if appropriate. By ensuring that we have a complete record of existing arrangements, we can shape our advice to the specific needs of the client.
Following the initial meeting we will analyse the information collected to build a detailed picture of the client's current position. We will then seek to define the most appropriate path to their financial goals and objectives. This is a comprehensive report covering the various issues discussed, setting out our proposals for consideration and the charges involved. Should any areas of concern arise at this stage of the process, our advisers are happy to discuss them. We can then revise any recommendations as appropriate.
Once the recommendations have been approved we will move on to implement these on the client's behalf. We will handle all administration arising from the implementation of our recommendations. Our dedicated support team can also be contacted during office hours with any queries.

Throughout the year we will monitor investments to ensure they continue to meet the appropriate selection criteria. Where we identify a fund that should be sold, we will write to clients advising them to move their money into a different fund. If the fund change would incur capital gains tax, we will raise this issue at the client's annual review meeting.
To ensure that the financial plan remains effective, we meet with clients on an agreed basis. In this way, we can review progress and client objectives to identify if any alterations are necessary. If there is a change in circumstances, lifestyle or goals then we can discuss if any changes are required to the client's plan.
